Je suis content car tout s’est joué au train. »
Claude Gautier (COHM), qui avait un instant donné la cadence, a calé trop rapidement, à court de préparation avec ses obligations professionnelles.
De quoi laisser à Jean-Marc Morelet (Nancy) et Chistophe Calderara (Damelevières) le soin de se disputer, entre vétéran, le gain de la troisième place. Le premier nommé en sortirait vainqueur, d’une dizaine de mètres et d’une stratégie finalement judicieuse.

Je n’ai plus de muscles. C’est sûr, ma reprise sur le triathlon (Nldr : à Messein), je ne l’effectuerais que sur mes acquis. »
Derrière, une autre locale, Izabel Desert (1h00'21) surfe sur sa victoire au Challenge Trophée Sport Loisir comme en témoigne sa troisième place au scratch.
